If you are unsure of your pets temperament especially whilst being handle by a stranger and of course in a strange place ,please bring with you
on the day of your Micro Chipping appointment a muzzle that is the correct size for your breed,....it is always a good idea to bring along with you a 2nd person to help aid you in keeping any pet being chipped, as calm and at ease and as still as possible .In the event that this can not be achieved the micro chipping implanting process may not be able to take place .
If your pet is unwell or has any skin conditions please consult your vet before having your pet chipped .
If an appointment has already been made with us and your pet develops any illness or condition ,please call us to cancel and seek advice from your vet ,another appointment can be made for your pet to be chipped at a later date .
Puppy Scan service ...with scan image E.mailed straight to you to print out at your leisure ..
Scanning Charges are as follows ....... £50.00 per scan ...scanning can be done between 4/5 weeks in to pregnancy from the 1st mate ..
Any female that has been mated with our own Stud Dogue has a FREE scan at 4/5 weeks
The ultrasound scan is done within a calm, friendly home environment. The scan takes between 15 and 30 mins with no need for any sedation or
shaving of your dogs fur .
If u are unsure of your dogs temperament around strangers and being in a strange environment ,it's always a good idea to bring with you a 2nd person to help calm and give reassurance .If this can not be achieved and the dog becomes stressed it could result in the scan not being able to take place .( Your Dog and it's possible unborn litter are our main concern .)

Foetal Heart Doppler Service ...... Canipervita is now offering to all pregnant Bitches a chance for you to be reassured of the litter being carried that all is well .This procedure is also done without sedation and shaving of the fur and takes around 15mins and is also performed within a
calm and friendly environment.
Charges for the heart Doppler service is £10.00 for each session .
Proven Stud Dogue Now Available to selected Bitches .

The Charges are worked out on a handling bases ....for each mate that takes place is £75.00 ...( ie... 2 mates will be charged at £150.00 and so on ,at 4/5 wks after mating you return for a free scan ,if it is found that your female is in pup the balance that would need to be paid is £250.00 at the time of the ultra sound scan and our stud Dogues KC details will be handed over to you so you are able to register your forth coming litter with the Kennel Club ..
If your female is found not to be in pup, you will have nothing more to pay .

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ON MICROCHIPPING .................
AT WHAT AGE CAN I HAVE MY PET MICROCHIPPED?..........
It is in the interest of the animal to microchipped NO earlier than 7/10 weeks old .If you have a large breed it will have more body bulk and can be microchipped at 7/8 weeks old and in much smaller breeds ,over 12 weeks ,but any concerns you may have please consult your vet before making an appointment .
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE MICROCHIPPING HAS TAKEN PLACE ?...............
After your pet has been chipped that's pretty much it ,all is left for me to do is register your pets and your details along with your unique Petlog I.D. code with Petlog and Petlog will then send your paperwork through to you within 5 to 14 working days .
However if your pet is re homed or you yourself change name address etc... you then must inform Petlog . Details for Petlog can be found on our Links Page.
I LOVE MY PET AND CONCERNED ON THE REACTION OF MY PET WHILST BEING CHIPPED !..............
Please try not to worry ,when chipping your pet it isn't unusual for the animal to bleed very slightly ,just as us humans might after giving blood at your doctors ,and he/she may give out a small whine ,this too is a fairly common reaction ,But a large percentage of the time your pet is pretty much unaware that the chipping process has even taken place .
MY PET HAS A SKIN / BLOOD CONDITION !............
If your pet has a skin OR Blood condition please consult your veterinary surgeon on your pets condition before making an appointment .

If your pet is unwell leading up to or on the day of your appointment pleas phone us here to cancel your appointment and another appointment
will be made for you as soon as your pet is back to health .

1st and full most Microchipping is the simplest,kindest and easiest method of identifying your pet should your pet ever be lost or stolen ,also if you
ever plan to take your pet abroad ,your Pet must have a microchip in order to comply with the regulations .
HOW DOES IT WORK ?...........
If the unthinkable happens ,a vet , rescue centre or dog warden will use a small hand-held scanner to detect the microchip number .This number
is registered with Petlog ,the national central database run by the Kennel Club. Petlog will confirm your contact details and you will be reunited
with your pet .
